21st Century Fabrication, Inc. has been doing business in Florida since 1996. Most of the projects we did were in the metal fabrication industry until 2004 when we began to expand into other trades. The first bit of expansion took us into metal building erecting, followed closely by a lot of hurricane and wind damaged repair and re-build projects.
The hurricane division of 21st Century Fabrication became a full blown roofing division in less than 2 years that has 29 men employed. We are certified installers for Owens Corning Roofing Products, all of the Carlisle Roofing products and all of the Hydro-Stop products. We are well versed in complying with the requirements of The Florida Building Code, Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County codes and inspection processes.
While we were expanding into the repair and roofing field, we stayed in touch with the back bone of our organization, (metal fabrication and erection) and together with P & A Welding and Machine, completed the following projects:
Waste Management Inc. Orlando, Florida; Fabrication and installation of approximately 120 tons of 3/8 inch plate retaining wall that was used to make the concrete forms and left as a push plate. The plate was fabricated and delivered in less than 30 days. Fabrication and erection of the tunnel extension, pyramid plates to lower the loading zone in the truck bay. First Assembly of God Church, Lake Wales, Florida; Design, fabrication and erection of all of the structural steel for the second floor mezzanines. This church is a seven sided pre-existing structure. We had to fabricate beams, angles, and channels to make a diamond shaped mezzanine in each of the seven sides. Design, fabricate, and erect an aluminum steeple for the top of the church. The steeple can be seen from highway 60 when you are going through Lake Wales. It is approximately 40 feet tall, setting on the compression ring on top of the building. The steeple is fabricated from aluminum tubing and aluminum flat plate. Circular aluminum platforms with removable handrail for the Air Force, going into the Titan Rocket Bays. Approximately 5,300 lineal feet of removable aluminum handrail to support the Cape side of the Kennedy Space Center.
Other past projects have included joist and deck for tilt wall buildings, metal buildings, cement block additions, car ports, installation of windows, doors, screen enclosures, etc. We are experienced applying Commercial and Residential roof systems and products. Metal Roofs, Architectural Standing Seam and Exposed Fastener; Hot Mop Built Up Roofing; Torch down Modified; Cold Applied Asphalt Systems 2 and 3 Ply; Shingles “Three Tab or Architectural”.
